Practicum Observation Submissions

Currently, all observations are done remotely by video/audio recording and paperwork submission.

During your practicum, you will be tutoring one to several students using the approach you learned in class.  Occasionally (approximately every 10 lessons or so), you will submit a video recording of a lesson to your training fellow, who will evaluate and make recommendations about your technique and procedure.  The Classroom Educator accreditation requires a minimum of 5 observations over at least 50 hours of tutoring.  The Associate accreditation requires a minimum of 10 observations over at least 100 hours of tutoring.

Currently, all practicum observations should be submitted directly to your training fellow, according to the submission instructions given to you during your class work.

Payment is due at the time of submission of the observation, and is payable directly to your training fellow.
