Our Story
The Blosser Center, founded in 2000, carries on the impactful work of Dorothy Blosser Whitehead, M.S., a highly regarded leader in establishing standards for reading specialists.
With a deep understanding of the challenges faced by struggling students, our practitioners have undergone extensive training and gained valuable experience in utilizing the Orton-Gillingham approach to teach literacy.
As the only independent and non-profit center in the Northwest accredited by the Orton-Gillingham Academy, the Blosser Center is dedicated to providing exceptional resources and support for individuals with dyslexia.
We take pride in upholding the highest standards in our field, ensuring that our students receive the best possible instruction and guidance.
